WANA (Mar 02) – Esmail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Israel and the United States are “recklessly targeting residential areas, hospitals, schools, Red Crescent centers, as well as cultural and historical sites,” describing these actions as among the gravest international crimes.
In a message posted on X, Baghaei shared an image showing young schoolgirls killed in the city of Minab and wrote: “While our brave people are mourning the cowardly assassination of Iran’s great leader and the killing of 165 innocent children in the southern city of Minab, Israel and the United States are recklessly targeting residential areas, hospitals, schools, Red Crescent centers, and cultural and historical landmarks.”
He added that these crimes rank among the most serious international offenses. Indifference in the face of such sustained and severe injustice, he said, will only darken the future of humanity and endanger the shared values upon which the international community is founded.
