TAMPA, Fla. — A new custom truck lot in Tampa will make its Discovery Channel Debut in August as “Truck Dynasty.” 

The show has been shooting for three years, mainly in South Florida, where the companies manufacturing shop is located.

SoFlo Customs has been in business for more than 13 years and recently expanded a sales lot to Tampa.

The Ft. Lauderdale-based company modifies Jeeps, pickups and Bronco’s into the ultimate off-road and eye catching vehicles.

Jerry Eisenband is Chief Brand Content and Media Manager for SoFlo Customs and Apocalypse Manufacturing.  

At the sales lot on Dale Mabry Highway, you can find everything from three-axle Jeeps, to trucks with monster lifts, to even one vehicle that can be driven on the road or on the water.

“You go face first with the truck right in to the water, it’s that easy,” said Eisenband.

SoFlo customs has a long list of celebrity customers including Shaquille O’Neal, Drake, Guy Fieri among others. It’s that kind of popularity that led SoFlo Customs to sign a deal with Discovery Channel for its own reality TV Show.

“Jonathan and Drew, the Property Brothers.  They called us up and said would you guys like a tv show?  And we said  Well everyday at the dealership is essentially a tv show because you never know what craziness is going to happen,” said Eisenband.

It’s not just celebrities and the ultra-rich that are buying from SoFlo Customs.

Eisenband says many small businesses are seeing the vehicles as a high-visibility advertisement.

From paint, to engine type, to capability, Eisenband says customers can choose a more conservative design, or opt for more expensive options.
