Center fielder Angel Martinez had three hits, including a home run, in the Guardians’ 3-1 loss to the Rangers on March 2 in the Cactus League.
Martinez also doubled and drew a walk.
No other Cleveland batter had more than one hit. The Guardians were 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position.
Slade Cecconi pitched 2 2/3 innings. He gave up two runs on a home run in the third inning, struck out four and walked one.
