Ten years ago, I was in 10th grade English class probably wearing Lululemon leggings with an EOS lip balm in-hand. Today, I come to you all grown-up (kinda) writing with important fashion news: You might already know that nostalgic 2016 trends are taking over, but I bet you’d never guess what sneaker silhouette from the era Kendall Jenner is trying to revive.Â

While out in Los Angeles, the model stepped out in Adidas Superstar Sneakers. Yes, those now-polarizing Adidas sneakers that were everywhere in the late 2010s, and now, Jenner makes them look like a seamless addition to her modern day wardrobe. The black and white sneaker with the rounded-toe, goes-with-everything silhouette doesn’t get any more classic. She styled them with loose white pants and a sporty track jacket, putting a minimalist, model-off-duty spin on the sneaker.Â
Even amongst the brand’s latest standouts, like the Tokyo Sneaker and SL 72, Jenner’s recent outing is a reminder that the three-striped sneaker, no matter the style, is simply timeless. I bet every It girl will be wearing Jenner’s pair by summer, so you can get a head start on shopping the style, and more from the brand, below.Â

Although the sneakers are sort of a time capsule of the 2016-era, they don’t look like it. Jenner’s outfit is proof and serves as a stylish blueprint for how to style the sneaker going forward. I’d wear them with baggy jeans and a pretty spring blouse once the warmer weather hits.Â

I’m obsessed with Adidas’ laceless ballet sneaker silhouettes, including its latest Tokyo iteration. These come in a pretty pink and brown duo, but I’d likely stick to the neutral shades for more wearability.Â

If you are on the hunt for a sleek slim sneaker to wear with everything, you can’t deny that the Samba is that girl. They pair so stylishly with jeans, trousers, skirts, dresses—you name it. Plus, they’re very comfortable.Â

The SL 72 sneaker is a reimagined take on a retro track shoe from the ‘70s, and it’s one of my favorite (and arguably the most slept-on) Adidas styles. I appreciate how each sneaker comes in so many fun colors, the SL 72 included.Â
