Bruno Mars is off to a fiery start with his latest album, ‘The Romantic.’
Long-awaited, the project serves as the crooner’s first solo body of work since 2016’s ’24K Magic.’
Preceded by the single ‘I Just Might,’ the nine-track LP has easily served as one of the year’s most highly anticipated releases, with first-week sales tallies in and all eyes on how tall the superstar towers with the project.
We now know more because the first-week predictions are here.

According to Hits Daily Double, ‘The Romantic’ is set to launch at #1 on the Billboard 200 with first week sales in the ballpark of…
175,000
Not a shabby number by any account. And it would function as Mars’ first #1 debut.
However, should the figure hold, it would serve as Mars’s lowest opening since his debut album.
Here’s how his projects stack up Stateside:
Doo-Wops & Hooligans | 55,000 | #3
Unorthodox Jukebox | 192,000 | #2
25k Magic | 231,000 | #2
Could higher heights be on the cards as the week progresses? Stay tuned.
In the meantime, let us know…
