According to a new report from the InSneider newsletter (via Comic Book), Sir Ben Kingsley has joined the cast of Sonic 4 in a “key” but currently undisclosed role.
Godzilla X Kong: Supernova
The Writer’s Guild of America page for Godzilla X Kong: Supernova has quietly re-added the film is “based on the characters “Godzilla” and “Space Godzilla” owned and created by Toho Co., Ltd.”
Leviticus
Bloody-Disgusting reports NEON has scheduled its new horror film, Leviticus, for a June 19 theatrical release. The story concerns “star-crossed teenage boys who must escape a violent entity that takes the form of the person they desire most—each other.”
Scary Movie 6
Marlon Wayans has also revealed Scary Movie 6 will now release a week early and compete directly with Masters of the Universe.
Forbidden Fruits
Fandango has a new poster for Forbidden Fruits, starring Lili Renhart, Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti, and Alexandra Shipp as a coven of mall-dwelling witches.
Slanted
Fandango also has a new poster for the socially charged body horror movie, Slanted.

Prime Video has confirmed the show’s fourth season will debut June 3.

Life Is Strange
Finally, Variety reports Maisy Stella and Tatum Grace Hopkins have been chosen to lead Amazon’s upcoming TV series based on the popular mystery adventure video game, Life Is Strange. Adapted for television by Charlie Covell, the story concerns Max (Hopkins), “a photography student, who discovers she can rewind time while saving the life of her childhood best friend, Chloe (Stella). As Max struggles to understand this new skill, the pair investigate the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student, uncovering a dark side to their town that will ultimately force them to make an impossible life or death choice that will impact them forever.”
