SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Sioux Falls Ford honored local health care heroes on Friday.
More than 90 nurses from 18 different health organizations were nominated for the recognition.
The Sioux Falls Ford team then reviewed the nominations, and on Friday, they recognized five Avera staff members for their dedication to patient care.
“Everybody has a had a personal experience, whether it’s a family, neighbor or friend who has had an experience with a loved one with a medical nurse or caregiver spending time at doctor’s office or hospital. We all know the impact they have on community and time they spend doing their job,” said Ed Bloom of Sioux Falls Ford.
They each received a $2,000 check.
