Okay, at what point do we start considering the fact that the folks in Archspire aren’t human? Like maybe they’re the latest model of some crazy A.I. gone rogue and instead of destroying the world, they’re just content with melting faces with insanely precise and fast metal music. I admit I don’t know the limitations of A.I., so it’s feasible in my mind…
I say all that because Archspire released their latest single off of Too Fast To Die titled “Red Goliath.” And as you should expect every time a new song comes out from this extreme tech death metal outfit, it’s blisteringly fast and heavy.
Speaking of the track, guitarist Dean Lamb says “Red Goliath” was a hard one to get together, but they managed to pull it off.
“Have you ever wanted something sooooo bad, but it just didn’t exist or seem possible? Like hot carbonated coffee or underwear that doesn’t make your back fat pop out like two extra butt cheeks? Well, that’s exactly how we felt writing our song, ‘Red Goliath!’ It just seemed as impossible as a grade 7 math problem. But somehow, by the grace of Satan, we managed to pull off writing the most couch humping, super sonic technical black metal song known to the universe. We hope you all absolutely despise this evil song as much as we do! ‘Too Fast to Die’ drops April 10th, pre-order now at archspire.net”
Too Fast To Die is coming out on April 10, but you can preorder your copy today.
Archspire are also heading out on their ‘Long Roads Big Loads’ North American tour later this year. You can find the full list of tour dates below and get your tickets today.
