The Emily in Paris star took to social media on March 6 to share the news. On her Instagram Story, she posted a photo of herself wearing the ring and wrote, “So grateful to @joethejewelerchicago for helping recover my original engagement ring after it was stolen almost three years ago. Having this home means SO much to us. I’m still speechless it’s back on my finger 🥹🤯🥰.”

Collins’s engagement ring, as well as her wedding band, was reportedly stolen in May 2023 from a West Hollywood hotel spa. At the time, sources told People that Collins was staying at the Edition hotel and had visited the spa, where she locked up her belongings. But when she returned to her locker, her jewelry was gone.
She previously shared that the ring was a rose-cut diamond and that her husband, Charlie McDowell, designed with jeweler Irene Neuwirth. “I was very surprised by it,” she said, “but it’s exactly what I would’ve wanted, and he knew me so well, obviously.” The ring is worth around $80,000, per Brett Afshar, jeweller and founder of jewelry brand, Queensmith, who notes that the bling “looks to feature a 2 to 3 carat rose cut diamond.”

Collins and McDowell married in September 2021. A few days after the ceremony, Collins posted a photo from their wedding day on Instagram. “I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife,” she captioned the post. “On September 4th, 2021, we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…”

In January 2025, the couple welcomed their first child via surrogate, a daughter named Tove Jane. “Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way,” Collins wrote when she announced the news. “We love you to the moon and back again.”
