The San Francisco 49ers continue their pre-draft evaluations ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, recently meeting with Ball State defensive end Nathan Voorhis during the school’s pro day on Monday, March 2.

According to The Sportsdudeheinz Show, the 49ers spoke with Voorhis during the workout. The team had also previously met with the pass rusher at the Hula Bowl.

Voorhis (6-3, 247) played for UConn, Bryant, and Ball State during his four-year collegiate career. According to Sports Reference and Bryant’s official school records, he totaled 105 tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss, 17 sacks, and three forced fumbles.

The defensive lineman spent his first two seasons at UConn, appearing in 20 games before transferring to Bryant for the 2024 season and finishing his collegiate career at Ball State in 2025.

In 2025, Voorhis recorded 51 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks, earning first-team All-MAC honors. He also forced two fumbles while serving as a senior starter for the Cardinals’ defense.
