Selena Gomez posed in pink silk lingerie to tease the launch of Rare Eau de Parfum, a new fragrance from Rare Beauty.

The “Calm Down” singer called the new product “my actual dream.”

The perfume launches on August 7 with Sephora.

Selena Gomez is ushering in a new era for Rare Beauty with a perfume campaign that features the “Calm Down” singer posing in pink silk lingerie. Taking to Instagram to tease the upcoming release of Rare Eau de Parfum, Gomez shared a carousel of sultry images. In the first three, she hides behind a bouquet of roses; the other snapshots show Gomez in a pool applying a fragrance layering balm to her wrist.

The beauty mogul captioned her post with a list of the perfume’s notes: “creamy caramel, pink pepper, pistachio, rich vanilla, spicy ginger that dries down to an earthy sandalwood.”

“My actual dream ✨,” Gomez added.

The “Fetish” singer dropped her first hint about Rare Eau de Parfum just two days prior with a selfie and selfie video. She also shared the brand’s official promo video for the new product.

“I wanted to create a scent that could evolve with the moment,” she wrote. “Rare Eau de Parfum goes from quiet mornings at home to a night out with my friends and always feels just right.”

Gomez added that the scent should feel “personal” and was “made to be layered.”

Rare Eau de Parfum is personal for Gomez, too. In an interview with WWD, the Bling Ring actress explained that she wore the test scent for “some of [her] best memories,” including her Taco Bell-themed engagement to Benny Blanco.

“It was just something that made me feel like a piece of me,” she continued. “And I wanted everyone to enjoy it. I was hoping that it would embody the place of life that I’m in.”

According to WWD, Gomez went through approximately 20 iterations of the fragrance before settling on the final product, which launches on August 7 with Sephora. As for the bottle design? It was made with accessibility in mind, thanks to the singer’s own battle with lupus.

“I have dexterity problems from my lupus, so sometimes it’s hard for me to open a bottle of water or do anything,” she told the publication “Sometimes I’ve had to use a spray and, like, put both my fingers on it. It’s not as sad as it sounds. I’m alive, and that’s all that matters.”
