Firefighters from multiple companies were operating at the scene of a significant fire Tuesday in the West Side School in Laurel Hollow, authorities said.
First responders were alerted to the blaze just before 5 a.m. at the elementary school, part of the Cold Spring Harbor School District, on Laurel Hollow Road, Nassau police said.
There were no initial reports of injures, authorities said.
