EXCLUSIVE: Hulu has put in development Double Or Nothing, a yacht rocker comedy from Theodore Bressman (Future Man), Neel Shah (Nobody Wants This) and 20th Television.

Written by Bressman and Shah, in Double Or Nothing, a washed-up yacht rocker gets a second chance at greatness when he teams up with a hungry young rapper to make the album of both of their lives. It’s a half-hour comedy about getting it right the second time around.

Bressman and Shah executive produce with Mark Ronson, Peter Rosenberg, Brandon Creed & Mikey Schwartz-Wright  for Good World Productions and Bryan Diperstein for Adventure Media Productions. 20th Television is the studio.

WGA Award-nominated Bressman has written on Future Man, Miracle Workers, Pam & Tommy, Sausage Party: Foodtopia, and contributed to the last three seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm. He co-created the Peacock/Syfy animated series The Pole, starring Bobby Moynihan, Colin Jost and Nicole Byer; co-wrote and executive produced Jungleland, starring Jack O’Connell and Charlie Hunnam; and was an associate producer on Goon. Bressman is repped by CAA and attorney Kim Jaime at Jackoway Austen Tyerman et al.

Shah received an Emmy nomination for his work on the first season of Nobody Wants This. He was also co-executive producer on the second season of HBO Max’s Love Life. Shah is repped by UTA, 3 Arts and Gang Tyre.

DJ and Oscar, Golden Globe and nine-time Grammy winning producer and songwriter Ronson co-wrote the hit “Shallow” for A Star Is Born and has worked with artists like Lady Gaga, Adele, Paul McCartney, Miley Cyrus, and Dua Lipa. In 2023, he served as executive producer and composer for Barbie The Album and its score, and in early 2025, executive produced SNL50: The Homecoming Concert with Lorne Michaels. His bestselling memoir, Night People: How to Be a DJ in ’90s New York City, was released in September.  Most recently, Ronson received the 2026 Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. He is repped by Good World, CAA, and Carroll Guido Groffman Cohen Bar & Karalian.

Rosenberg is the co-host of ESPN New York’s Don, Hahn & Rosenberg. He is also an analyst and commentator for WWE and co-host of The Ebro, Laura, Rosenberg Show, a hip-hop and culture podcast.  Double Or Nothing marks Rosenberg’s first foray into producing for television. He’s repped by CAA and Adventure Media.
