CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Guardians have announced that the home opener on April 8 against the Chicago Cubs is sold out.
The sellout marks the 33rd consecutive full house on Opening Day at Progressive Field since the ballpark first opened in 1994, the team said in a news release.
Despite the sellout, there is still a way for fans to attend the home opener. The Guardians also announced the return of the Ballpark Pass. For $59 per month, fans can attend any Guardians home game with the monthly standing-room-only ticket.
At Progressive Field, the standing-room-only locations include the Corner bar, left field, and right field drink rails, the home run porch, Heritage Plaza, and the upper level corners – The Pennant District in the right field and the Terrace Garden in the left field.
Fans can purchase the monthly Ballpark Pass, which includes access to the home opener, by clicking here.
