Riding a wave of 2000s nostalgia, the rebooted Pussycat Dolls will play Pine Knob Music Theatre on July 1, the blockbuster girl group’s first metro Detroit concert in nearly two decades.
Nicole Scherzinger and company are embarking on a 53-city tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut record, “PCD,” one of the two Pussycat Dolls albums that made the pop-dance ensemble one of the bestselling acts of its day.

The Pussycat Dolls, from left, Ashley Roberts, Nicole Scherzinger and Kimberly Wyatt, perform in Manila, Philippines, on June 11, 2009.
Lil’ Kim and Mya have been tapped as openers for the tour’s North American leg, which also includes a June 30 stop at Grand Rapids’ new Acrisure Amphitheater.
Tickets for Pussycat Dolls’ shows in Detroit, Grand Rapids and other markets will go on sale at 10 a.m. March 20, following North American presale windows starting March 18 for Citi cardholders and via Ticketmaster registration.
Scherzinger — the Tony Awards’ reigning best musical actress for her “Sunset Bouevard” stage role — will be joined for the 2026 run by Pussycat Dolls members Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts. Not involved are Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta, who were set to participate in a 2020 reunion tour ultimately derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic and a series of legal battles.
The Thursday (March 12) tour announcement comes alongside the release of the Pussycats’ new track “Club Song,” the latest in a line of singles that started with the platinum breakout hit “Don’t Cha.” The group’s 2006 Snoop Dogg collab “Buttons” recently notched a billion YouTube streams.
The Pussycat Dolls’ last full metro Detroit concert came in 2007 at the Palace of Auburn Hills. (Amid the hoopla of the 2009 NCAA basketball Final Four at Ford Field, the group performed a brief set ahead of Michigan State University’s winning game.)
