CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Firefighters in Matthews responded to a fire that broke out in a popular shopping plaza Thursday morning, Matthews Fire and EMS said.
Crews responded to the incident on Windsor Crossing Drive, just off Independence Boulevard, around 7:30 a.m.
No word on injuries or estimated property damage from the fire at this time.
