Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger SpinThe new Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin on-ride photo will show riders' mission score and rank for the first time.

The example shared by Walt Disney World shows two riders with the Astro Aviator and Planetary Pilot ranks. It has their scores, special icons, Total Targets Hit, and Special Targets Hit.

The scoring system has been updated and will no longer max out at 999,999. Astro Aviator is a new rank.

The revamped attraction will reopen on April 8, 2026. It has a new opening scene with original character Buddy the robot, an updated climactic battle, brand new ride vehicles with new score displays, handheld blasters, and interactive targets. We got to play-test the blasters and targets. Disney teased Toy Story 5 Easter eggs and more surprises in the ride.
