WANA (Mar 12) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson has reacted to a report by an American television network suggesting a possible Iranian drone attack on the U.S. West Coast, questioning the motives behind the claim and raising the possibility of a “false flag” scenario.

The issue emerged after ABC News aired a report discussing the possibility of an Iranian drone strike targeting the western shores of the United States. The report quickly drew a response from Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson on the social media platform X.

In the post, the spokesperson cast doubt on the narrative presented in the report, writing: “Could this report be a prelude to another false flag incident?”

The spokesperson also added a pointed remark regarding drone technology, stating: “They have already copied enough Iranian drones.”

The term “false flag” is commonly used in political and security discussions to describe an operation designed to appear as though it was carried out by another party, often to justify political or military actions or to influence public opinion.
