High wind warning in effect for western Pennsylvania

A utility pole came down with power lines and landed on a car in North Versailles, Allegheny County on Friday evening.See the video above”I’m just glad to be alive,” Mike Walker told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 at the scene on Greensburg Pike.The North Versailles man said it happened just hours after a tree fell on the roof of his house.”I called my insurance, and was on our way to a hotel and went to grab something to eat with the dogs. Next thing you know, we had a pole come straight down on my car,” he said.”Just kind of shook up, but pretty much, everybody’s all right,” he said.Strong winds were blowing through Western Pennsylvania on Friday. A utility pole came down with power lines and landed on a car in North Versailles, Allegheny County on Friday evening.

“I’m just glad to be alive,” Mike Walker told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 at the scene on Greensburg Pike.
The North Versailles man said it happened just hours after a tree fell on the roof of his house.
“I called my insurance, and was on our way to a hotel and went to grab something to eat with the dogs. Next thing you know, we had a pole come straight down on my car,” he said.
