Team USA has been dominant to say the least, continuing its overwhelming run through the qualifying group phase of the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup.
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese helped power the United States to another blowout victory, cruising past New Zealand 101-46.
Each of the USA’s four straight wins has come by at least 36 points, with Italy coming the closest to giving Team USA a competitive game.

On Sunday, Clark finished with 14 points, six assists and two steals to help lift Team USA to an impressive win. She shot 55 percent from the field and knocked down two shots from beyond the arc in the strong performance.
Reese added nine points, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks in a strong all-around performance while shooting 80 percent from the field.
The United States held New Zealand to single-digit scoring in the second and fourth quarters while going on a 21-0 run and building its largest lead of the game at 58 points.
Team USA also dominated from the field, shooting 67 percent overall and 48 percent from three-point range. On the defensive end, the United States recorded nine blocks and 17 steals while forcing 28 turnovers.
Every player who saw minutes scored on Sunday, with Rhyne Howard leading the way with 18 points. Kelsey Plum added 10 and Paige Bueckers chipped in seven.
Team USA will have a day off before facing undefeated Spain on Tuesday.
