For someone who was double digits off the lead, Chad Ramey managed to get a lot of TV time on Sunday afternoon at the Players Championship. And for good reason.

The PGA Tour winner played about as electric of a pair of par 3s as possible on TPC Sawgrass’ back nine during the final round. First, making a hole-in-one on No. 13:

And then making one of the wildest bogeys ever on No. 17. Check out this tee shot on the island par 3 that managed to stay out of the water, but lodge up against the grass on top of a wooden plank:

NBC’s Kevin Kisner suggested that Ramey and his caddie just go to the drop zone, but Ramey, apparently, likes to live dangerously. After assessing his options, he tried this daring shot—and pulled it off pretty well:

Moments later he two-putted for a bogey and what has to the wildest combined 5 anyone has ever made on those two Pete Dye par 3s. Hey, it could have been a lot worse. And if golf fans tuning in Sunday afternoon didn’t already know Ramey’s name, they certainly do now.
