FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Allen County Coroner’s Office is investigating after suspected human remains were found in a Fort Wayne creek on Saturday.
A spokesperson for the coroner’s office confirmed with 21Alive News on Monday that a fisherman found a human skull and other skeletal remains on a dam in Spy Run Creek, behind Costco, around 2:15 p.m. Saturday.
The coroner’s office says they are currently investigating the matter, alongside the Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
