Fullerton Police Department responded to a call regarding a traffic collision involving a motorcyclist and a vehicle on Titan Drive and Nutwood Avenue at 3:53 p.m this afternoon.Â
Public Information Specialist for Fullerton PD Kristy Wells confirmed that as of 5:07 p.m. the cause of the collision is still under investigation. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene to cooperate with investigators. The motorcyclist has been taken to a local trauma center, the status of his condition is serious but stable as of 5:38 p.m.Â
Fullerton PD released a statement at around 4:30 p.m. on Instagram regarding the collision, saying that the westbound lanes of E. Nutwood Avenue would be closed from State College Boulevard to N. Commonwealth Avenue.Â
Wells stated that road closures would last up to an hour after the collision. At the time, Fullerton PD encouraged drivers to use alternative routes and to avoid the area if possible until the routes open up again.Â
Fullerton PD has confirmed via their Instagram that the roadway is now open as of 6:30 p.m.
