Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen was ruled out with left knee soreness for his team’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday.
Additionally, forward Haywood Highsmith is available after being questionable with right knee injury management.
Center Mark Williams (left foot third metatarsal stress reaction) and forward Dillon Brooks (left hand fracture) remain out for Phoenix.
Allen scored 13 points on 3-of-7 shooting with one rebound and two assists across 21:42 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Boston Celtics.
Allen is averaging 17.2 points on 40.7% shooting and 35.4% from long range this season. He’s added three rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
Highsmith has appeared in five games for the Suns this season. He’s averaging six points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
Who is out for the Timberwolves?
Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (right knee inflammation) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s matchup.
He’s expected to be reevaluated in one to two weeks.
Timberwolves center Naz Reid (right shoulder contusion) is available.
Edwards is averaging 29.5 points (career high), 5.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 35.5 minutes played through 58 games.
Reid has played in 67 of Minnesota’s 68 games this season and is averaging 13.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 26.1 minutes played per game.
