Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has been a key contributor for Team USA in the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Through four games, she has recorded a combined 51 points and 25 assists, both of which are team highs.
In Team USA’s opener against Senegal, Clark came off the bench and tallied a double-double of 17 points and 12 assists.

Clark has also produced plenty of highlight plays in the competition, including an incredible assist to Angel Reese in their debut game. The Fever guard’s shooting prowess has been on full display as well, with her deep triple against Italy even getting the slow-motion treatment.

FIBA has certainly been impressed by Clark’s performance so far. In fact, on Monday, the organization posted another slow-motion version of a play from the 24-year-old WNBA star.

In the fourth quarter of Team USA’s game against Italy over the weekend, Clark displayed her ball-handling skills as she executed a crossover while being heavily guarded. She then proceeded to do a spin move to create some separation from her defended before quickly delivering a fadeaway shot.
“Caitlin Clark shake & bake is the content I need, the content I want,” FIBA wrote in the caption of the post, along with the clip.
Clark’s play had a lot of fans buzzing, especially after seeing the slo-mo video.

“Bro, she’s so smooth with the ball! She was definitely made for this [expletive]!!” an impressed fan said. Another one said, “Killer.”
“So smooth,” a commenter wrote, along with emojis to signify amazement.
“Baller!!!!!!” a poster noted.
A fifth supporter stated, “Amazing ball control!”
“CC cookin, let her cook!” a hyped poster exclaimed.
A social media user added, “In her bag sheesh.”
Team USA has already qualified for the FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin, Germany, in September by virtue of winning the 2025 AmeriCup. Sure enough, it will be interesting to see whether Clark will be selected for the roster again.

Clearly, though, plenty of eyes will be on her as fans await the next exciting play she produces for the national team.
