Clark has missed 13 of 26 games due to injury and is set to miss Friday’s game against the Wings.

But Clark’s teammates have picked up the slack recently as the Fever have won the last three games.

One of Indiana’s players, rookie Chloe Bibby, has contributed to two of those wins, averaging 9 points and shooting 50 percent from three-point range.

But the 27-year-old Bibby was simply auditioning as she was playing on a seven-day contract with the Fever.

Fortunately for Clark and company, the Fever have signed the Australian forward Bibby to a rest-of-season contract, the team announced Friday.

This is Bibby’s first season in the WNBA after playing overseas for the previous three years.

But Bibby has a history of playing alongside Clark’s college rival, Angel Reese.

In 2017, Bibby moved to the US to play college basketball for Mississippi State.

Then in 2020, she transferred to Maryland, where she played two seasons alongside Reese.

Fast forward to 2025, and Bibby has found a role on the Fever.

She has posted 18 points in just 24 minutes of action across her two games.

And Bibby has drilled four of eight shots from behind the arc.

Fever head coach Stephanie White seemed to foreshadow the team’s commitment to Bibby.

“She just gives us a different look than any of our other post players,” White said after Bibby’s first game on Sunday.

“With Bibby, she’s a stretch four and she’s a shooter—we haven’t had that,” she shared after the team’s victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday.

With no timetable for Clark’s return from a groin injury, Aliyah Boston and the rest of the squad will have to adjust without the two-time All-Star.

They will begin a four-game road trip on Friday as they’ll take on Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings.

The Fever owns the league’s sixth-best record (15-12).
