Day 6 of the ATP Masters 1000 event in Miami will feature the conclusion of the round of 32, with several compelling matchups and top players in action, including Indian Wells champion Jannik Sinner and defending Miami champion Jakub Mensik. If the weather allows it, it should be a fantastic day of tennis in Miami. But who will advance?

ATP Miami Day 6 Predictions
Frances Tiafoe vs Jakub Mensik

Head-to-head: Mensik 1-0 Tiafoe

Mensik’s title defense got off to a rocky start, but he managed to get through his first match and now takes on Frances Tiafoe, who has been in good form lately. Ultimately, however, even if Tiafoe can be a threat to anyone on his day, if Mensik serves anywhere near how he did last year, he should be able to continue his title defense here, even if it is a very close match.

Prediction: Mensik in 3

Alexander Shevchenko vs Ugo Humbert

Head-to-head: Humber 3-0 Shevchenko

This is already a fantastic run for Shevchenko, with his win over Ben Shelton arguably the best of his career, but Humbert is a very clear favorite here. He is easily the better player of the two overall and has a fantastic chance to make a good run here with Shelton out and facing an opponent he has beaten three times already.

Prediction: Humbert in 2

Quentin Halys vs Kamil Majchrzak

Head-to-head: Halys 1-1 Majchrzak

Halys won a very close contest earlier this year in the Brisbane qualifiers, and this should be a similarly tight contest. It is a huge opportunity for both players, and they will do their absolute best to make the most of it. While Halys reached the Miami fourth round in 2023 (his only ever Masters 1000 fourth round), for Majchrzak, it would be breaking new ground. Both players have played some great tennis so far, beating much higher-ranked opponents to reach this stage, and this should be a fantastic match, decided by small details and execution at key points.

Prediction: Halys in 3

Jannik Sinner vs Corentin Moutet

Head-to-head: Sinner 1-0 Moutet

With Carlos Alcaraz out of the tournament, Sinner is the clear favorite to complete the Sunshine Double here. It will certainly take very high-level performance to stop him here, and as tricky as Moutet can be, it is unlikely that he manages to produce the level necessary to take down the World No. 2.

Prediction: Sinner in 2
