Alabama nailed 11 3s and rolled over No. 5 seed Texas Tech 90-65 Sunday night, setting up a Sweet 16 matchup with Michigan, the top seed in the Midwest.

Alabama closed out the second round with a breezy rout of Texas Tech. Latrell Wrightsell scored 24 points and knocked down 6 3s in the win.

Huskies in the hunt for history
They’ve won the national title twice in the last three years, and they’re absolutely a threat to do it again. The UConn Huskies served notice by easily handling UCLA on Sunday night, and Alex Karaban fueled the win by scoring 27 points.

Two-time national champion Alex Karaban scored 27 points on 9-for-16 shooting, and UConn overpowered UCLA 73-57 to move into the Sweet 16.

Big 12 Player of the Year Jaden Bradley started slow, but he found his offense in the second half to lead Arizona past Utah State 78-66.

Top seed Arizona moves on
The Wildcats handled their business in the West region Sunday by defeating a competitive No. 9 seed Utah State 78-66. Jaden Bradley scored 18 points and Brayden Burries added 16 for Arizona. Arizona will face No. 4 seed Arkansas in the Sweet 16.

It’s a shot that will live in Iowa history forever.
Alvaro Folgueiras knocked down a clutch 3 with just 4.5 seconds left on Sunday and Iowa defeated defending champion Florida for a berth in the Sweet 16.

Iowa delivered the shock of the tournament by knocking out the No. 1 seed in the South region, the defending champion Florida Gators. Alvaro Folgueiras nailed a 3 in the waning seconds to give Iowa a 73-72 lead.
The Gators couldn’t answer, sending Iowa through to a berth in the Sweet 16.

The Tennessee Volunteers are celebrating their fourth straight trip to the Sweet 16 after beating Virginia in the second round on Sunday. Ja’Kobi Gillespie scored 21 points and Tennessee managed to hit some clutch foul shots down the stretch.

While without its second-leading scorer and top rebounder Joshua Jefferson, Iowa State brought the intensity and forced 20 Kentucky turnovers en route to an 82-63 win, sending the Cyclones to their third Sweet 16 under head coach T.J. Otzelberger.
