The Warriors provided a recent injury update on Curry that indicated that the star guard is moving in the right direction in terms of his recovery would would begin practicing with the team in the near future.
Golden State is basically locked into a spot in the Play-In Tournament at this point of the season, so there’s really no rush for Curry to get back as long as he’s ready for the tournament game(s), and maybe a game of two beforehand to knock off some rust.
“We’re squarely in the play-in (tournament), no matter what we do,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said of the situation. “The bottom line is that if Steph is healthy, he’s going to play. It’s what we’re here for. And the chance to get in the playoffs is a big deal for us. A big deal for Steph, at 38. We don’t know how many more chances there are, so you go for it.”
