KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog! Now we’ve got beers, it’s time for cheers!

Coming this season, the Kansas City Royals are offering the 9-9-9 challenge as a menu item.

What is the 9-9-9 challenge? Eating nine hot dogs and drinking nine beers over nine innings.

Major League Baseball posted to social media that the Royals are one of six teams to introduce the menu item to their in-stadium concessions list in 2026.

There is a catch: the hot dogs are mini-sized and the beers are flight-sized. The 9-9-9 Challenge will be available for purchase at Double Dip Hoagies in Section 247.
