Walt Disney Imagineering filed a permit for more set elements to be installed at the new Encanto attraction under construction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
More Set Installation Coming to Encanto Ride
The Notice of Commencement was filed today, March 26, 2026. It permits Mecca Productions, Inc. to install set elements at 504 Dinoland Drive, the location for the upcoming Encanto ride. This is part of the larger reimagining of Dinoland, U.S.A., into Tropical Americas. The permit expires in one year.
A few weeks ago, Walt Disney Imagineering filed another permit for the company Scenario to install set elements at the Encanto ride. These permits could allow crews to start installing Casita-themed sets. The ride’s facade will be the house, while guests ride through on enchanted furniture.
The ride is set to open as part of the new Tropical Americas land in 2027. The land will also include a carousel and an Indiana Jones attraction.
