The Wisconsin Badgers have struck again in the Class of 2027, and it’s one of their best gets yet, as four-star offensive lineman Cole Reiter announced his commitment to the program on Thursday.
Reiter, a 6’7, 315-pound tackle from Germantown, Wisconsin, has been to campus a bevy of times and was one of their top targets in the class, even after switching offensive line coaches to Eric Mateos.
He becomes the fifth commit in the class for Wisconsin, and the second-highest recruit behind four-star in-state tight end Korz Loken, according to 247Sports. Reiter is also the second offensive lineman in the class for the Badgers, joining three-star in-state recruit Ethan McIntosh, the son of Athletic Director Chris McIntosh.
All five of Wisconsin’s commits thus far have come from in the state, and Wisconsin still has several more targets they’re pursuing in a very strong in-state class.
Reiter had offers from all over the country, including Michigan, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, and other top programs. Ultimately, he chose the Badgers, staying home to play for head coach Luke Fickell.
With Reiter in the fold, here are Wisconsin’s five commits in the 2027 class:
