Atlanta, March 29 (SANA) Belgium defeated the United States 5-2 in an international friendly in Atlanta on Saturday, as both teams continued preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The United States took the lead in the 39th minute through Weston McKennie, but Belgium equalized just before halftime with a goal from Zeno Debast.
Belgium took control in the second half, with Amadou Onana and Charles De Ketelaere scoring to put the visitors ahead.
Dodi Lukebakio added two more goals to extend the lead, sealing a dominant performance by the Belgian side.
The United States pulled one back late in the match, but were unable to close the gap.
