Seton Hall has set its season-opener for the 2025-26 season.

The new-look Pirates will host Saint Peter’s on the opening night of the college basketball season, Peacocks coach Bashir Mason told NJ Advance Media.

That game is part of an ambitious non-conference schedule for the Peacocks that also includes Georgetown, FDU, VCU , Delaware, Dartmouth and UMass-Lowell

The Hall will also compete in the prestigious Maui Invitational that also includes Baylor, NC State, Oregon, Texas, UNLV, USC and Chaminade, the annual host school.

Pirates coach Shaheen Holloway said Seton Hall will again play Rutgers in the Garden State Classic and that it’s adding several high-profile games, including a home-and-home with Kansas State.

The Hall will visit Manhattan, KS Dec. 6, with the return game at Prudential Center in the 2026-27 season. Holloway is looking to add one more high-major game to that mix.

“We’re trying to get two more high-major Power-5 games,” he said.
