Canada lynx are secretive forest dwellers and rarely encountered by humans, but they are not shy around Troup’s motion-sensor cameras.

According to the Canadian Wildlife Federation, lynx subsist largely on snowshoe hares. But they also prey on squirrels, grouse, voles, mice, and foxes.
