Leicester 1-2 Preston
Boos from some of the home faithful and Leicester will have to come from behind to grab something from this one.
The Foxes got off to a perfect start when Patson Daka was gifted an early goal after Andrew Moran sold North End keeper Daniel Iversen with a dreadful back pass.
Moran made amends later on in the half though when he fired home off the underside of the crossbar and, after the referee checked his watch, the goal was given.
The visitors then went ahead just before half-time when Ben Whiteman’s looping header from Alfie Devine’s corner found the back of the net following poor Leicester marking.
A massive 45 minutes now ahead for the home side.
