INDIANAPOLIS — A spot in the 2026 national title game will be on the line Saturday when No. 1 seed Arizona meets No. 1 seed Michigan in a heavyweight national semifinal matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium. The winner will face either No. 2 seed UConn or No. 3 seed Illinois for college basketball’s ultimate prize on Monday.

Michigan advanced to the Final Four for the first time since 2018 after defeating Tennessee in the Elite Eight. The Wolverines are seeking their first national title since 1989 and second in program history during coach Dusty May’s second season on the job.

Arizona is making its first appearance in the final weekend of the college basketball season since 2001 after defeating Purdue last week in the West Regional final. The Wildcats have one national title in their trophy case, and are just two wins away from adding another in Year 5 of Tommy Lloyd’s tenure with the program.
