John LaMacchia, lead guitarist of progressive metalcore band Candiria, has paired with Mike Manteca of New Jersey experimental hip-hop duo Dälek for a new project dubbed Mare LaMacchia. The duo have put together a debut EP which they will be releasing on April 24th through Mind Over Matter Records. Music from it and pre-orders from it are expected to surface next week, with the aforementioned label offering the following about it in advance:

Mare LaMacchia is the newest addition to the Mind Over Matter Records family, and their unique sound fits in perfectly amongst the diverse roster!
