There was a minor shakeup in the top 10, with Georgia jumping from No. 6 to No. 4 after its impressive sweep at Mississippi State, and the Bulldogs (from Starkville) falling from No. 4 to No. 7. Alabama also climbed into the top 10 (to No. 9) after taking two of three at Oklahoma. The Crimson Tide are 8-4 in the SEC and have won three straight series after getting swept by Kentucky to open league play.
There are two new teams in the ranking, headlined by UCF, which is No. 17 after winning a series at West Virginia. The Knights are 10-2 in the Big 12 and alone in first place. Kansas, which has won six straight, enters at No. 24. Oregon, which lost two of three at Michigan, and Kentucky, which lost a series at home to Missouri, dropped out.
