It’s a bird … it’s a plane … it’s a flying dolphin!
Onlookers in Hawaii got quite the show recently when a dolphin shot 15 feet into the air off the coast of Maui. Experts from the Pacific Whale Foundation were so impressed, they dubbed the aquatic acrobat the Michael Jordan of its species!

The conservation group shared the spectacular snapshot of the soaring dolphin on Instagram, assuring followers that the phenomenal photo was “not AI.”

The foundation estimated that the “Air Dolphin” flew upward at a distance measuring more than twice its length.
“If a human could match this feat relative to their body size,” the foundation explains, “it would be like jumping clear over a basketball hoop.”
