Newly hired Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, who’s on his second tenure coaching for the Longhorns, is so far pleased with what he’s seen from the program, according to a recent KXAN report.

“I told them day one that change is inevitable in life, and sometimes, you aren’t in charge of it,” he said. “Sometimes it happens very much out of your control, but growth is optional. You grow with us, or you don’t. They decided to grow with us, and I’ve been so impressed with their work ethic and buy-in.”

Hopeful words ahead of big expectations for the 2026 college football season.
