AUGUSTA, Ga. — Gary Woodland arrived at the 12th tee Friday afternoon with one of the most picturesque views in golf spread out before him. Rae’s Creek glimmered below. The flowers beyond the green looked painted into place. Hogan Bridge sat off to the left, and the tricky green lay ahead, barely the size of a manhole cover (and not much softer). It was a scene meant to be framed, not navigated.
