President Donald Trump looked “like he has been crying” as he walked into the arena for UFC 327 on Saturday night.
Video circulated online showing the president strolling dejectedly into the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, to watch the fights, with his daughter, Ivanka, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio right behind him.
X users were quick to point out how depressed the president looked, with one writing, “Looks like he has been crying. Why so sad?”
Another noted the lack of swagger in Trump’s walk, which usually defines it. They wrote, “Trump used to walk in, head up waving at everyone cheering at the UFC. He just walked in with his pathetic head hung low, nobody cheering.”

Some witnesses at the event even described booing as the president walked in with Ivanka and Rubio.
The lukewarm reaction to Trump comes amid a tenuous ceasefire in the Iran war — a conflict that has tanked the president’s overall approval rating.
His appearance marked the first he’s made at a sporting event since the start of the war, which he launched on Feb. 28.

Trump has been a common fixture at UFC and other combat sports events during his presidency and his 2024 campaign, with appearances dating back to his first term.
In 2025, he attended UFC 316 and Miami fight night, and in 2024, he attended UFC 302 in June and UFC 309 in November. And back in 2019, he attended UFC 244.
Prior to Saturday, the last major sporting event Trump attended was the College Football Playoff national championship game between Indiana and Miami at Hard Rock Stadium on Jan. 19.

Both that event and Saturday night’s UFC 327 are near his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, where he spends a large number of weekends.
His appearance at UFC 327 also comes mere months before his UFC Freedom 250 event is scheduled on his birthday, June 14, at the White House.
Trump attends UFC 327 as Vance leads negotions between US and Iran in Pakistan
The U.S. and Iranian delegations paused their deliberations after hours of talks at the Serena Hotel in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Talks are slated to resume on Sunday despite earlier notions that talks would be limited to a single day. It was the Pakistani representatives who suggested the break, with talks to resume in the morning, per the semi-official Iranian news agency Mehr.
It’s after 7 a.m. in Islamabad, and Vice President JD Vance, alongside a team of expert negotiators, has been at the hotel for over 21 hours.
“We’ve been at it now for 21 hours, and we’ve had a number of substantive discussions with the Iranians. That’s the good news. The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement,” Vance told reporters after emerging from the discussions. “And I think that’s bad news for Iran much more than it’s bad news for the United States of America.”
“So, we go back to the United States having not come to an agreement,” he added. “We’ve made very clear what our red lines are, what things we’re willing to accommodate them on and what things we were not willing to accommodate them on. And we’ve made that as clear as we possibly could, and they have chosen not to accept our terms.”
