Caitlin Clark was more than happy to help Lexie Hull announce her decision to return with the Indiana Fever.
On Saturday, Hull took to social media to officially announce that she will be back with the team after agreeing to a new deal in WNBA free agency. According to reports, Hull agreed to a new multi-year contract with the team. The Fever have also already confirmed the signing.
Clark co-starred with Hull in the latter’s announcement on TikTok. Clark could not help but reach out to Sophie Cunningham, who is also a free agent. The two-time WNBA All-Star had a message for Cunningham ahead of the latter’s free agency decision.

Cunningham has not yet agreed to a new deal with the Fever. The team’s top priority was Kelsey Mitchell, who has already agreed to a record-breaking one-year, $1.4 million extension. Hull was next on the list, and the front office has now checked that box as well.
Cunningham could very well be the next player on the agenda for the Fever. The 6-foot-1 guard was a revelation for Indiana in her first season with the team, providing leadership on and off the court.
Cunningham’s physical presence was a much-needed upgrade for the Fever as well. She played 30 games before her season-ending injury, averaging 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 three-pointers in 25.2 minutes per contest.
Clark is hoping that Cunningham also returns to Indiana for 2026. Clark tagged Cunningham on the comments section of Hull’s TikTok post, along with a message.
“@S O P H I E hey what’s up wyd,” Clark wrote.
Hull also responded to the comment, posting three video emojis. Cunningham caught wind of the exchange, and she, too, had something to say to her teammates.
“The no invite is CRAZYYYYY! You two better make up for this horrible TikTok,” Cunningham replied.
Both the Fever and Cunningham have already indicated a willingness to extend her tenure in Indiana. However, both parties will need to reach an agreement on a new contract before this comes to fruition.
