MILWAUKEE — Christian Yelich left the Milwaukee Brewers’ 8-6 loss to the Washington Nationals on Sunday with tightness in his left hamstring.

It wasn’t immediately clear how Yelich got hurt. He was the designated hitter and went 0-for-2, hitting grounders each time. Gary Sanchez pinch-hit for him in the fifth inning.

Yelich, a three-time All-Star and the 2018 NL MVP, is batting .314 with one homer and 10 RBIs in 15 games.
