CASA GRANDE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is hospitalized after he was shot in an officer-involved incident in Casa Grande late Sunday night.
Casa Grande Police said the officer-involved shooting happened at 10:23 p.m. in the 300 block of Bobcat Place, which is in a neighborhood near Hopi Drive and Pinal Avenue.
Police said a “male subject” was shot, then taken to the hospital. No details were immediately available on his injury status.
No officers were hurt in this incident, police said. An investigation is still underway.
No details are available yet on what led to the shooting or how many officers were involved.
Police advised drivers to avoid the area, as travel will be restricted through the neighborhood.
This is the 30th officer-involved shooting in Arizona in 2026, according to Arizona’s Family’s records.
