The Dallas Wings are only expecting their popularity to continue skyrocketing following the WNBA Draft.

The Wings drafted Azzi Fudd after picking up Paige Bueckers the year before.

Dallas Wings CEO Greg Bibb tells KRLD Business Analyst David Johnson they’re expecting to pack their new home once it’s finally ready in a couple years.

“We’ll make it great at that building and sell it out,” Bibb said. “Once we’re consistently selling out the Dallas Memorial Auditorium we’ll begin thinking about what’s next.”

He says following the draft of Paige Bueckers, their local broadcasts grew by more than 400 percent last year.

The Wings are looking to play at the American Airlines Center next season before moving to Memorial Auditorium in 2028.
