A man has been sentenced to 24 months in prison after illegally re-entering the United States.
Ramon Rodriguez-Gonzalez, 43, plead guilty to illegal re-entry charges in Sept., 2025. He was deported twice before, both in 2019.
Rodriguez-Gonzalez was found in the U.S. for a third time and arrested on June 27, 2025, by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA). He was transferred into the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) three days later.
He’s facing charges of homicide and abuse of a corpse in Bibb County. He was sentenced on April 15 by U.S. District Judge Anna M. Manasco.
