Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a LeFlore County Sheriff’s Deputy was killed in an incident in Wister, Oklahoma.OSBI Public Information Manager Hunter McKee said this happened in the 35,000 block of Highway 270. OSBI could not confirm exactly what happened to the deputy, but said there was a brief standoff with the suspect after the deputy was injured.A Wister Police officer was also injured, and taken to a hospital. OSBI says that officer is in stable conditionThat suspect is now in custody. OSBI said there is no threat to the public.OSBI says they will not release any names at this time.

A Wister Police officer was also injured, and taken to a hospital. OSBI says that officer is in stable condition
