Peoria Ridge Golf Course to close in Miami permanently
MIAMI, Okla. (KOAM/KJFX) — The Peoria Ridge Golf Course is closing permanently at the end of May 2026. The course is part of the Buffalo Run Entertainment Complex.
The announcement was made by the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma in a statement late Friday.
“We know Peoria Ridge holds memories for many in our community, and we do not take that lightly. This was not a decision any of us wanted to make. At the same time, we are a sovereign Tribal nation, and our responsibility first and foremost is to the well-being of and services to our citizens.”— PEORIA TRIBE

THE 18-HOLE COURSE COVERS 247-ACRES IN MIAMI JUST OFF HISTORIC ROUTE 66 AND I-44.
The golf course has been listed with a realtor for nearly a year. They state they accepted an offer at one time but it fell through for “reasons outside of our control.”
It is an 18-hole championship public golf course in Miami. Known as a challenging, scenic course (6,960 yards, par 72) with rolling hills and water hazards.
Property was most recently listed with Jacob Barnes, Ary Land Co.
Asking Price: $2,300,000.Size: 246.9 acres.Features: Turnkey operation, 25,500 sq ft, 6 buildings.
There are no immediate plans for the property. The course will close, then after May 31, 2026, all members will receive a letter by mail addressing member options.
